Let’s face it: Even though you are surrounded by millions of people, New York City can be one of the loneliest places on earth. Whether we’re too busy, too shy, or too lazy, it can be hard to find a place to get plugged in around here. We are working to know more about God, each other, and our neighborhood–get connected with us!
One of the greatest strengths of our culture is it's ability to ask the hard questions. Community groups create a context where individuals can honestly ask hard questions and diligently seek answers. In community we give and receive care from others and together we worship God.
When we read the Bible, we realize that Christ spent a lot of time ministering to people’s need, both spiritual and physical. In effort to mirror that, and show our gratefulness for all that He has given us, we have begun a feeding ministry to the homeless and hungry of Greenpoint. And we’d love to have your help. The details are simple: we pick up leftover food from a local market each night and distribute it to local folks. If you're interested in joining this critical service please contact us.
